With all respect, but Paul music/lyrics are no no no!
He lost is years ago.
If he wasn't a beatle, people wouldn't listen at all to this.

I think it's interesting that Paul admitted that he was on auto-pilot on some of his albums, and has made a conscious effort this time to not coast on being famous, basically.

its just too bad rolling stone is nothing but a paid advertisement these days. i could get on rolling stone's cover if i had pr people paying them enough. sad but true.

i am glad paul apparantly finally did something creative with his solo career though!

I wouldn't say he's been on auto-pilot for the last 10 years
Flaming Pie
Standing Stone
Run Devil Run
Working Classical
Liverpool Sound Collage
Driving Rain

And the same applies to Prince.
Could four consecutive albums be any more different than:
Rave un2 The Joy Fantastic
Rainbow Children
NEWS
Musicology ???

I think we',ve become a bunch of spoilt brats. confused
I for one keep enjoying every new release by both of them nod

Not entirely, I agree with u that those albums had duds all over it.. but Flaming Pie had "Somedays" on it.. and thats one of the most honest, heartfelt, beautiful tracks I have ever heard from him.

so the duds are worth it if a song like that comes along..

Sounds like an opinion of someone who doesn't know much about Macca's music...
Since 1988 - Flowers in the dirt - Paul only made good albums. His last three pop albums (he did a lot more inbetween) belongs to the very best in his career:
Flaming Pie, Driving Rain en the outstanding Chaos and Creation album. An album full of highlights!
Jenny Wrenn, How kind of you and especially Riding to Vanity Fair are songs to remember for a long long time...

Thumbs up for Macca cool

Question: Are you on the Macca board as well?
Lot of topics there - of course wink - about the new album.
And if you're from the States...are you going 2C the man live?
