ANYBODY REMEMBER THAT ARTIST NAMED NEWKIRK? He was a part of the Flavor Unit I believe, but he wasn't a rapper. In fact, he was dubbed as like the next generation's Prince. He released a CD in the late 80s-Early 90s and had a nice cut on the "Living Large" soundtack called "Small Thing" that talked about the Gulf War and environmental shit. He was also the game show hosts voice on De La Soul's debut CD "3 Feet High and Rising." "But what of black women? . . . I love "sweat you". One of my fav newjack tracks. A really great track to jam too. I got the album "funk city" he did. I think its pretty rare now? It looks hippyish (and cheap), but the music has some raw newjack and funk and slow jams. Social track "double dutch on the sidewalk" is another highlight. Iam gonna hear it again now. Thanx

The only song I remember by him was something about a girl named Jenny.
