Best Inxs Album?

My vote goes for either:

Full Moon Dirty Hearts

This album had two of my very favorite Inxs tracks including, "The Gift" and "Timez" I think the album has a kind of timeless sound to it. Unlike some of Inxs' earlier albums that might sound dated now - this album could have been recorded in 2005 with the way it sounds.

Orrrrr

Bang the Drum EP

This EP (I believe it is only downloadable on iTunes) features one of the BEST Inxs songs ever recorded called, "Bang The Drum." The song has some amazing lyrics that you can really ponder in your mind. "Recognize what you want when it speaks to you." Hutch had a way with words, that is for sure. Beyond this awesome track, you also get 2 live tracks recorded in 97' and another hard to find track called "Let It Ride." The title track makes this EP worth the few bucks it costs to download and the live tracks add to it being that much more awesome. Download it now!

Disclaimer: While the new Inxs tune Pretty Vegas is catchy - Both of the above releases feature better songs than Pretty Vegas. They also feature a better singer.

Everyone say hello to Michael Hutchence biggrin

I always felt this was the best INXS album! It was very different to their previous recordings. I also like the Full moon album, it was very raw and rocky smile

Elegantly Wasted is a jammin' song also and the concept was interesting. I have not listened to it enough to judge the album. I own a copy of it though and one day I will get around to discovering it. I've heard some people talk about how it was Michael Hutchence's cry for help through his lyrics on this album. If so, being a huge Hutch fan, that might be kind of depressing to listen to - but I will one day.

Listen Like Thieves was great and I would say the underrated Welcome To Wherever You Are.
