Who's That Girl is really the ONLY Madonna movie I can stomach these days. There are four Madonna movies that I like to watch from time to time... "Who's That Girl" "Truth Or Dare" "Evita" (but I really have to be in the mood to watch this, lol) "The Next Best Thing" Most of her other films are crap, although "Body Of Evidence" has some "interesting" love scenes

Actually, as much as I hate Justin Timberstank's music he was pretty good on SNL. Not that that's THE proving ground but I think he'd do okay than many singer turned actors based on his ease in front of the camera & comic timing.

DavidEye said: Funny you should start this thread.Just yesterday,I was in the mood to watch a Madonna movie and I pulled out this one
I had not watched this film in several years. But last week, there was a thread about Maddy's fake British accent, and I mentioned this movie. So I wanted to watch it again to see if my opinion changed (lol). While I still find her "accent" to be embarassing and annoying, the film is not that bad. It's a strong storyline with a surprising twist near the end. completely wrong. the storyling is INCREDIBLY weak and the plot at the end is crap. Yeah, getting a gay guy drunk is how you get him to fuck a woman And anytime a movie winds up in a courtroom, it means somebody couldn't think up a third act. Vanilla Ice was in "Cool As Ice" (I think that was the title). I remember he had some line like "Why don't you drop that zero and get with the hero!" The movie was just as shitty as his music.

[Edited 10/13/05 11:35am] Something tells me you're around 11 years old. Actually I'm 20..soon to be 21 And I LOOOOVE Purple Rain I'm just a bit more of a Michael fan as opposed to Prince during the "Purple Rain era." However..I can't wait to check out Prince's music videos off the Batman soundtrack. That was my favorite album by him
