MACEO!!!!! knocked me off yesterday!!!! I visited his concert yesterday and got home totally physically and mentally exhausted. That man brought me to musical heaven! UNBELILEVABLE!!! It was one of the greatest musical experience in my life! He played for 3 hours. The first hour was just ok and there was like one in hundred people dancing but at the end it was the other way round. He totally got everyone. Phenomenal experience!  "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all." | |

Greg Boyer was also fantastic Like Maceo, he's an Ex-Funkateer; also from PFunk is bass player Robert "Skeet" Curtis. That thumb he got is killer. Gotta mention guitar player Bruno, boy got that stroke on guitar (I remember at HOB when Prince walked out sans guitar and Bruno bowed and offered up his axe to Prince to stroke, but he declined). test | |

apart from the good musicianship (don't wanna argue about that!) I always grow tired quickly at a show from Maceo.....I always (seen him a couple of times now) get the 'I-heard-it-all-before'-feeling.....it's just never 'new'! | |

I've never seen him before and I don't know a lot of his music but I invited a lot of friends, telling them it will be great... he better be good! | |
