Who wrote Kelly Clarkson's "Behind These Hazel Eyes"?

The reason I ask - the chords in the chorus 2 this song are the same chords in the chorus of Joan Osborne's "One Of Us" (written by Eric Bazilian). Anyone else pick up on this?

I don't really remember either of them having particularly original-sounding chord changes.
