boyz II men VS new edition

who would you give the nod to as being the better singing group--new edition or their "offshoot" group boyz ii men ("discovered" by michael bivins of NE)?

harmonizing--B II M

classic songs-- call this a tie
individual talent-- NE--johnny gill and wanya morris cancel each other out vocally...ralph tresvant and shawn stockman are about equal...but NE had more hits as solo artists

longevity-- NE...peole still pay to go see NE...B II M just kind of show up at county fairs now
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

I like N.E songs better.

But Boyz 2 men doesn't really have a weak vocalist.

New Edition was better by far!!!

I hated Boys to Men. They completely screwed up GC Cameron's It's So Hard to say Goodbye ...because they don't know how to ENUNCIATE!

They were a bunch of mumblers.

New Edition has style, charisma, a variety of personalities that meshed well together and signature songs that you liked INSTANTLY. Even the spinoffs, especially BVD were outstanding.

NE forever. headbang

oH... and they have stage presence like no other male group since the temptations.

it's not even a competition.New Edition has a handful of classics that still sound good to this day ("Is This The End","Lost In Love","Cool It Now",etc).

There is only one Boyz II Men song that I really liked,"Water Run Dry" (or is it "River Run Dry"?).But I like it mostly because of Babyface's awesome production lol
