Are you sure it's not the dub version that they're rotating?
The Madonna community would have heard the whole version by now if it has been released.

it's probably the thin white duck mix by jacques lu conte that's been circulating for a few days now, not the album version

stuart price = jacques lu conte

Oh yeah! It's now Doug 93.1. They claim they play everything but it's mostly bland classic rock and pop. Very dissapointing. It changed on April 1st so most people thought it was a joke. They don't have DJs, just one annonying voice over guy who just keeps spouting off terrible lines about playing everything (although, again, heavily boring classic rock/pop....think the most boring hits from the seventies and eighties....). 93.1 used to be great! I rememeber when they first came back with a dance format in the ninties, they would play a huge block of Madonna on her birthday. Then they kept screwing around with the format, evantually turning into the hit/R&B station....95.5 now is the only station doing that and they try to put in some older hits here and there, so I think they are really trying to screw with the format, too.

Well that just sucks. 96.3 really went down the tubes too. I miss Big Sonic Heaven. And especially Lisa Lisa!

Madonna is back in full form.
First it was the Catholics she pissed off and now it's the Jews.

The irony of Madonna releasing an album that supposedly has no messages and now she's once again facing controversy.
A'int it beautiful? biggrin

eek Wow i love it. It seems this Madonna promo is really going down well. Even though i've read some comparisons between Lindsay Lohan in those pics.

This just keeps getting better and better day by day.

Take note how she's sticking to the same theme with the lettering, kind of like she did with the "Music" promo.

Apparently she is expected to be a guest at the Roxy next week eek

I just hope we can get video footage of everything.

JERUSALEM - A song on Madonna's upcoming album dedicated to a Kabbalist rabbi is drawing criticism from other rabbis, the Israeli Maariv daily reported Sunday.

The album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor," is to be released on Nov. 15 and features a track entitled "Isaac" about Yitzhak Luria, a 16th century Jewish mystic and Kabbalah scholar.

Rabbis who oversee Luria's tomb and a seminary in the northern town of Safed are unimpressed with Madonna's musical tribute and see the inclusion of the song about Luria on the album as an attempt by the pop star to profit from his name.

Rabbi Rafael Cohen, head of a seminary named after Luria, suggested Madonna's actions could lead to divine retribution.

"Jewish law forbids the use of the name of the holy rabbi for profit. Her act is just simply unacceptable and I can only sympathize for her because of the punishment that she is going to receive from the heavens," Cohen told the newspaper.

yeah! so there! hmph!

how childish. i'm glad i'm not religious. i couldn't stand to be tithing to douchebags like this that have to justify their position by sitting around thinking up inane rules.

Article today in Swedens biggest economic newspaper.

Highlights:

* Warner Sweden expect sales to be +60 000 before christmas,
making it platinum.

* World sales expected to be above 10 000 000 copys.

* Bjorn/Bennys decision to allow the ABBA-sample was based on their positiv opinion on Hung Up and their respect for Madonna as an artist.

* Executives at Universal Publishing think it's a bonafied
smash hit that will earn the members of ABBA some fresh money, (as if they need it...)

Source: http://di.se/Index/Nyhete...?src=xlink

So as you can see Madonna is well respected by the Kings of Pop. Benny and Bjorn of ABBA

Actually, from what I remember hearing on the radio, they coulda been playing the dub version. It was very instrumental except for the chorus and bits of the verse, which is how dub versions sound.

We have that "We'll play anything" radio too. HA...more like "We'll play anything that was a number one song and that Clear channel says we can play".

A Madonna album without controversy is like Prince without high heels.

The thing is that Madonna's music is far from controversial or even edgy...though we are told it is all the time....oh...IMHO wink
