So we already know of 3 non-album tracks now? Not that I'm complaining, but why hasn't she been doing this all along? sad

The Spanish ghetto set, even with the Spanish WIFLFAG was my favorite.

i should point out that my favorite part of the show was when she sang la isla bonita. it was beautiful and very much worth the price of admission. it was done simply and elegantly with no special effects necessary.

when i was younger i didn't like La Isla Bonita. But the performances on the Girlie Show and Drowned World Tour made me love the song.

Maybe I'm alone but I thought AL was a great or at least very good single. I don't think it's a Madonna conspriacy...it's all about the war. Clear Channel is Bush country. Howard Stern got a pair and started slamming Bush....Oh, time to pull him off the air for content (sure, cause Howard just got dirty and they eneded up picking a 2 year old bit). Why would Clear Channel even have to issue a statement? Don't be fooled. Clear Channel might be about money but they are also about a very conservative idealogy!

I think it was mostly about the embarrassing rapping. That and the dishwater dull chorus.

The songs titles I've heard mentioned I believe are...

"If Ya" on iTunes
"Fighting Spirit" on the limited edition
"Souls Divided" on the single

Hope it's true!

Its impacting radio on Oct. 17, and considering that the single format is close to extinction, it's not much of a big deal that she's releasing the single so late commercially.

With that said, I do wish that she would release the single earlier. But then again, she released the "Music" single about a month before the album, and both single and album did VERY well. So really, maybe the same trick will work twice. Who knows?

The single format is dead but not Itunes. Why not release it to Itunes and on the net when it hits radio. Again, radio isn't super kind to Madonna (not here anyway). I'm never going to hear this song!

12pm EDT Oct 17 is the worldwide premiere of Hung Up. It'll play on stations worldwide at that time.

Sure it will

But seriously, there are no pop stations left in Detriot. They are all old school or new school R&B (the pop station has changed to poppy R&B and hip-hop and even plays some "old" stuff like Salt N Pepa) or, light rock/pop (think 80s Heart and disco on the weekends) classic rock (think 70s Heart)! That's it! So what station in Detroit will play "Hung Up"?

93.1 changed? I'm so out of the loop. I haven't listened to Detroit radio since I moved a year and a half ago.

Oh yeah! It's now Doug 93.1. They claim they play everything but it's mostly bland classic rock and pop. Very dissapointing. It changed on April 1st so most people thought it was a joke. They don't have DJs, just one annonying voice over guy who just keeps spouting off terrible lines about playing everything (although, again, heavily boring classic rock/pop....think the most boring hits from the seventies and eighties....). 93.1 used to be great! I rememeber when they first came back with a dance format in the ninties, they would play a huge block of Madonna on her birthday. Then they kept screwing around with the format, evantually turning into the hit/R&B station....95.5 now is the only station doing that and they try to put in some older hits here and there, so I think they are really trying to screw with the format, too.

Are you sure it's not the dub version that they're rotating?
The Madonna community would have heard the whole version by now if it has been released.
