Jimi was fine with it, cus Noel couldnt play bass, Jimi re cut all of Noel's bass parts. it was all Jimi's descision to let go of personnel not His Manager.even tho he was a fuck yeah i admit. | |

All said, Band Of Gypsies is still my favorite Hendrix cd. Mile's brought out a funk/soul element in Jimi's music with his drumming, and 2gether with Billy Cox, they were a super tight power trio! Not 2 say that Mitch wasn't a great drummer, but 4 the kind of music Jimi was going 4, he wouldn't have worked. |
