He exited in that rather dramatic manner that seems to be in Org fashion these days - he deleted his account.

Can't argue with anyone on your list. cool

There's quite a few folks around here actually.
Based on his "listening to" lists, HamsterHuey.

In reality, I get a much more accurate take on someone's tastes after i've actually communicated with them over time.
So based on that i'd say paligap & TheRealFiness.

There have been quite a few surprises for me just reading posts.
Orgers you think you've got pegged will bring up an artist you never would have suspected they'd like.
namepeace, lilgish, Threadbare, DorothyParkerWasCool, sinisterpentatonic, GFam, Stax, among others.
(I also hate making "Orger lists" because I don't like leaving people out confused )

A special mention, for personal reasons, goes to VC.

I'd say me.

Not to toot my own horn, but I do feel that I have a vast love of all kinds of music.

I do notice that most people here either like funk or soul music, or mainstream pop stuff. I like all those, plus metal and experimental jazz, classical and avant garde music of all kinds. I like african music and Indian chants. I love all kinds of jazz and old Classic country. I like some folk and most alternative rock/punk.

Hows that?
All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

I try to read most posts even if I don't comment.
Always open to learn something new about music.

And your comment about Supernova is right on the money. I really miss her.

Again, the reason I hate "Orger lists". You always, at least temporarily, leave someone out. disbelief

Agreed.

That's why i'll at least read posts on artists that I don't normally listen to or know about.

tA: Thanks for the namecheck!

virtually everyone that posts in this forum fit the bill, but I'd say that you, paligap, CinisterCee, TheRealFiness, MinnieG, Supa, lilgish, sextonseven, OdysseyMiles and several others are ones I can rely on to be the most conversant of many styles of music.

His tastes may not be the most varied, but I think Anx's tastes are definitley the coolest. Stuff like:

Sonic Youth
Diamanda Galas
The Residents
Peaches
New Order
David Bowie
Hole
Bauhaus
etc.

I don't think it's possible for Anx to like any music that really sucks. He needs to hang out with thesexofit or something and develop a taste for pop-crapola (sorry thesexofit, you know what I mean). Then maybe I'll nominate him for most varied musical taste.
