Kanye West on SNL last night?

Did anyone else see that? One of the more memorable musical performances on SNL in my opinion. The skits were not as bad as usual either. The Mike Meyers moment with Kanye was well done. More thoughts?

Okay, right before Kanye was about to go out to do his first song, there was a skit where Lorne Michaels, the producer of the show, was standing outside his dressing room, kind of worried that Kanye was going to 'say something' so Lorne stopped one of the black cast members, not the main one, and asked him to go check on Kanye. So he did. Kanye comes out all mad at Lorne saying "Why did you send a black man in to check on me?".....you get the point. Then Kanye heads through the halls on his way to the stage, passes Mike Myers who is helping himself to coffee or something. Mike acted sort of uncomfortable and nervous. Kanye asked him how things were. Mike said he had lost his U.S. Citizenship but that it didn't bother him, etc. He was basically pretending to be nervous too so he wouldn't upset Kanye. But if you know Mike Myers, he was very good at acting the part and funny. Sorry this doesn't sound that funny when reading it but it just kind of said more about Kanye than anything. Made me like him more that he has a sense of humor about it. Then the dj and the orchestra did Gold Digger/Testify and later he and the guy from Maroon 5 did the first song on the album and it was great! The host was that guy from The Office and 40 Year Old Virgin. He was pretty funny as well. That's all I got.

I thought it was great that instead of having a bunch of hoochie mamas up there dancing to Golddigger, etc., that he had an all female orchestra up there--talented musicians with their clothes on! omg
