Funkiest Album?

I couldn't find the original thread, but somebody (VoicesCarry, perhaps?) started a thread a few months back asking the funk fans what was their choice for the funkiest album ever. I don't know if I could qualify my selection as the funkiest ever but in the past month or two, I've really been enjoying this album A LOT:

Great funk from start to finish. And omfg if Spirit of the Boogie isn't a phenomenally funky track. I literally cannot sit still when I listen to that one. It's also noteworthy for containing Jungle Jazz, the original recording of the hit Jungle Boogie. Incredible horn work throughout this album. I'm lovin' it!

Man, for me, that's impossible for me to state. Funkiest album of all time?! Wow. See, for me, I never just think of "funk" bands as the only ones throwin' down funk, u know? I mean, for example, I'll fuck around and say some shit like early Black Sabbath, u know? I mean, take your pick from all of the funk bands from the 70's alone. One of those albums can easily qualify. Any Parliament album between 75 and 78 could take the crown. And of course James. From the 80's, u can throw in Zapp. Just having a cut like "More Bounce To The Ounce" on ANY album could qualify.

My personal pick is Either Fresh or There's A Riot Going On. In terms of the sheer quotient of funk anyway. The best funk-rock album is either Maggot Brain or One Nation Under A groove. In terms of jazz-funk, well that honor probably belongs to something that good friend TA already mentioned cool
