Windows Media Player Problem

I am trying to burn a cd but everytime I put the blank cd-r in the cd drive it doesn't work or when i click burn now it says insert the cd but the blank is in the drive. it just started happening saturday. does anybody know what i can do to fix it?

The best thing to do is to uninstall WMP and pretend it was never on your computer in the first place. Try Roxio or Nero instead. They're better burning programs.

But sometimes you need to burn copy-protected WMA files to CD.

The only other free program that I'm aware does this, is Musicmatch Jukebox.
