I'm a big Neil fan, but Prairie Wind is the worst album he's ever made; a complete and utter stinker from start to finish. He's made dodgy albums aplenty in the past, but they've always had one or two absolutely killer songs on them which have made listening to them rewarding. Prairie Wind doesn't even have a halfway decent song on it. I'm not sure which is worse, the lame, predictable, pedestrian music, the overly slick production, or the lyrics which are so utterly crass and stupid they make R Kelly's read like Dylan. Avoid this album like it's got runny, scabby plague sores.

It must be better than "transformer" or "landing on water". those albums truly suck

I kinda like Transformer in a freakish kind of way
Landing on water is puuuuukey.

I've been racking my brain trying to recall anything about a NY album called transformer - it finally just struck me: you have to be talking about trans, right?

I liked a few things off of Landing on Water, actually - Violent Side, Hard Luck Stories were MOR music, but kinda enjoyed Neil's take on that sound. The album from that era that I found absolutely intolerable was Life, which was hopelessly bland and dull - probably not as 'bad' as old ways or everybody's rockin' but those albums had interesting elements, at least.

You're totally right boxed
That would Lou Reed or sumthin'. But, yeah, Trans is kinda fun, in a I can't believe he's trying this kind of way. The bulk of Landing on Water and Life remind me of Peter Gabriel .

See!!! It's so bad I can't even remember the name of the album although I own it.
I woke up sunday morning with no way to hold my head that didn't hurt
and the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad so I had one more for dessert
