Favourite... De La Soul (and other Native Tongues) -Buddy 12 inch

Least favourite... Funnily enough, never liked Digital Underground much, but can't think of too much hip-hop I hated as I would just sniff out who I thought I would like usually by association with someone I already liked.

Least favorite: Rapper´s Delight...hated it from the beginning.Still do.
plus anything by Hammer, MC Young, even though these aren´t "old skool".

My favorites are anything off of Criminal Minded by BDP (RIP DJScott La Rock)
Most of the Melle Mel classics, lots of old Ice-T up until 1987 including the whole Rhyme Pays album, Whodini´s Friends and One Love and Five Minutes Of Funk,Looking For The Perfect Beat by Bambaataa and the SoulSonicForce, and of course EPMD and Master Ace and Rakim but those also aren´t really "my" old skool.
And many more...too lazy now.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

loved Slick Rick

The Adventures of Slick Rick.

so filthy and explicit lyrics, but cos his voice and flow was so smooth he made it sound clean..ppl praise Rakim for hsi fine flow, but Slick always flowed like fine wine,

am going to get hate for this one, but never got into EPMD, although i still praise and respect Eric Sermon for producing Redmans fantastic whut thee album!!!

I hate "Rappers Delight" by the SugarHill Gang. What a crappy song...nonsense lyrics over a Chic sample.Yes,I realize that this song is important, one of the first rap songs, blah blah blah. But it is garbage. What really pisses me off is that our local Old School R&B station (which normally never plays rap) ALWAYS plays this song...the annoying 12" extended version too mad

Favorite old school rap song? "Peter Piper" by Run DMC headbang

I kinda resent the fact that Sugarhill Gang was cobbled together by Sylvia Robinson like a boy band, not an actual pioneering group of the era.

Fav: Well, if you mean old school like '79-'84, it is RUN-D.M.C.'s "Rock Box". "Rappin' And Rockin' The House" and "Freedom" are the next two.

Least fav: Rapper's Delight.
