Not to be negative, but...boo!  Peggy Lee is another of my favorites, and her voice really is beautiful and smoky. Midler has a great stage persona, but I've never understood the appeal beyond that. Her songs aren't all that great and her voice is on the dull side. But as a live perfomer? Yes, I totally get that. The only one I want to hear doing Peggy Lee songs is Peggy Lee herself. As long as Midler stays far, far away from this fun and influential album I can deal:
