Wasn't it the same song. Wiki came up at a Faculty meeting I was at as an Hawaain expression or something. And then one of the teachers, slightly older might I add, whispered to her friends about a song from the eighties that went "Wiki, wiki, wiki, wiki". I was tempted to tell her it was "Jam On It" by Newclues. Would I have been wrong? Maybe the radio station that played it here just mixed the two song together.

First off, I left out a "k" in Wikki lol

Okay, there's Jam on Revenge (The Wikki Wikki Song) and Jam on It. They're two separate but similar songs. I forgot about Push the Button; I like that one, too.

Newcleus rock.. very talented and lots of free downloads on their site including forays into other genres...
any fans would be most welcome at the forum...
www.jamonproductions.com/forum

ohh and all the guys from newcleus go on there, Cozmo,Al "T" Mclaren, Chilly Be and other artists connected as well.. biggrin

Jam ons revenge is the Wikki wikki song, theres a few mixes and variations using the wikki bit as well (yes i edited this post, too long without sleep, sorry!!!my mistake)

i love the other songs on the greatest hits, destination earth, space is the place, cyborg dance...
and the best version of the greatest hits is the one from the site that came out this year cause its the original cuts and vocals crispy clear and the CD is signed by Cozmo ...

Both the Jonzun Crew and Newcleus had a song called "Space Is The Place" a few years apart. They are both entirely different songs and both funky as hell.

Yep, thats the one. He found it in a underground record shop. He loves it.

Michael Jonzun helps out with brother Maurice quite alot. Some of the silly sound effects they used for their late 80's pop tracks still sound like they were stuck in the early 80's. All them silly blips and beeps. Good for me though.

In 1982, The Jonzun Crew released two 12 Inches, "Pack Jam" and "Space Is The Place". Then they released their "Lost In Space" album which included a remix of "Pack Jam", the 12 Inch version of "Space Is The Place", and other songs such as "We Are The Jonzun Crew", "Space Cowboy", and "Ground Control".

In 1984 they released another 12 Inch called "Time Is Running Out". I never heard any more from the group after that.
