Great Album(s)..., his first album is excellent as well. Titled "true to myself" 1996. Some others that are not on his first two albums...

I bought this album ages ago and it's a pretty good album, there's a track with Me'shell on it 'Ghetto Girl'. It's well worth a listen. | |

eric benet is great.
true to myself, however, is not his first album. he has an album he released with his sister a few years earlier than that... hard to find, titled "benet" comparing him to prince is not a good idea. comparing artists in general is not a good idea either. let benet be benet, and let prince be prince. benet does a funky cover of a sly song on true to myself. give it a listen if you haven't. | |

Eric's a cool dude. Great, great voice. Very underated. I much prefer him to D'Angelo and Maxwell.
