The Real Thing by Gwen Stefani That's my favorite song off of Gwen's album. It's just so spectacular and sounds really old school yet fresh at the same time. It features Wendy and Lisa and two of the dudes from New Order(which explains why it sounds like a New Order song).
I think it's criminal that this song wasnt a single. I would have preferred this song over "Cool". Anyone like this song?

the wendy and lisa cool mix is much better then the album version.

I love both versions but all bias aside I really Love the Wendy and Lisa mix, it gives the song a whole different vibe, it's a shame more people don't know about it since it's not available on the US version, By the way Luxurious will be the next single.

but then, i might be a tad bias... LUXURIOUS? Are you sure? I mean, the song's ok I suppose, but there's FAR BETTER stuff on the CD. Like The Real Thing, or even Serious or Crash. I dont see this song doing too well, particularly since most people will think it borrows quite a bit from "Big Poppa" by Notorious BIG. Also, with a supposed new album in the works, are their even any new singles set to come off the album? I mean, dont get me wrong, I think it would be great if she kept on promoting the album(like they used to with Madonna and MJ),I'm just skeptical.

Yeah she confirmed Luxurious will be the next single this week 2 MTV News, I would've liked 2 seen Serious or Bubble Pop Electric as singles, the latter would've made a great video with Andre 3000, the new album was supposed 2 come out by year's end but with another single being released it looks like it may be pushed back 'til spring and she said most of it's done but she wants 2 go back in2 the studio 1 more time for 1 more writing session, she did premiere a few new songs at the launch of her new L.A.M.B. line last week, they're produced by the Neptunes, Breaking Up, Candyland, and Orange County Girl, here's a few other titles that may be on the album:
You Started It (The Neptunes) Fine By You (Linda Perry) written the day b4 What You Waiting For Fluorescent Lights (Tony Kanal) Parental Advisory (Rich Harrison) Wonderful Life For Him (Linda Perry)w/ Depeche Mode's Martin Gore on guitar newskin69 said: NPG2045 said: I love both versions but all bias aside I really Love the Wendy and Lisa mix, it gives the song a whole different vibe, it's a shame more people don't know about it since it's not available on the US version, By the way Luxurious will be the next single.

That songs really hit or miss. The Real Thing would be alot more surefire.
