The Sonic Youth GOO Reissue is HERE!

I just went out for my usual payday haircut and wrecka stow used bin dig, and I found a copy of Sonic Youth's GOO reissue...used! Two discs, with all the b-sides, demos and extras, plus a nice thick booklet of pictures and liner notes. This is my favorite Sonic Youth album, and I can't wait to dig into it. Yippee!

I also picked up a copy of the new Saint Etienne DVD "Finisterre", which is more of a documentary about London with a soundtrack and DVD bonus goodies by the band, but I'm still excited about seeing what it's all about.

Good day at the wrecka stow! thumbs up!

nah. that's why i scour the used bins. plus, the st.et. DVD wasn't all that expensive.

and i spend WAY too much money on music...but it's an addiction where at least i can enjoy what i binge on for years to come. shrug

i found my copy used for 18.99 at reckless...if best buy has it, i bet/hope they have it for 19.99. if so, grab it - the demos are fantastic, and if you don't already have GOO, it's an album you need to own. nod

cool...i think you'll love this album - it's incredibly silly and melodic. they set out to make a goofy fun pop record and i think they succeeded. nod

I adore this album. I remember it very fondly. I lost my copy somewhere along the years. I will have to pick this up!
