Stateside One Hit wonder would be Kylie Minogue... anyone remember her? You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

She had 2 hits in the USA. Anyway, that's hilarious hearing her being called a OHW over there when she's the 2nd most successful female singles artist ever after Madonna over here.

That is quite funny. I often say I wish I lived in Europe, that way I could stop xplaining 2 people who Robbie Williams is. Michael Damian - Rock On
He released like tons of other albums, and they were all awesome if you ask me. But this was the song he is probably most known for.

Nearly He had a bigger hit than the "Wizard", remember "19"? (a Vietnam documentary that he snipped together into a cracking tune ). That was really good! He lived opposite my cousin brother in Leyton. When "Wizard" came out after "19" he made a few coins and moved out He was meant to be a nice guy though. Big Pig: "(I Can't) Breakaway"
The 7-member percussionist band was from Australia. Sherine, their lead singer, was from Shri Lanka. Does anyone else remember them??? I still have their video collection with their "one hit" and a few others. They did this video in long aprons (like what butchers wear) and beat their drums like there was no tomorrow. For the band... I guess there really wasn't. All My life I wanted to fly Like the birds that you see way up in the sky Making circles in the morning sun Flyin' high in the sky till the day is done Like a child in his fantasy Punching holes in the walls of reality All my life I wanted to fly But I don't have the wings and I wonder why Well, mama told me when I was young Stand tall girl, you're Number One She said you can be what you want to be But you can't change the course of your destiny ... Their "Bonk" CD came out in 1988 and a follow-up "Oh You Lucky People" a year or so later. I miss them and would KILL to have a new disc by them now!

3 hit wonder Dance ( disco heat) You are my friend Do u wanna funk U know, I thought about that as I was submitting my reply, but I decided that in terms of songs a lay person would know by him, I think he could fairly b called a "one-hit wonder", despite his success on the dance charts. Because that's from '69. Probably to Bauhaus' version. Unless you are older than I thought, or Top of the Pops has been around longer than I thought. How old is TOTP anyway?
