CALLING ALL TONY HEADZ! - WHAT'S THE BEST TONY TONI TONE' ALBUM AND WHY? I GOTTA go with "Sons of Soul" because it opened the door for the Neo Soul artists, plus it had the jams:
Slow Wine Lay Your Head On My Pillow Anniversary If I Had No Loot Tell Me Mama My Ex-girlfriend What Goes Around Comes Around I Couldn't Keep It To Myself Bomb ass album - Raphael is the muthafuckin' man! ...
I'm going wit' "House of Music" , for tracks like "Wild Child" (great Tower of Power Tribute, with horn arrangements by T. O. P.'s Greg Adams) , Holy Smokes and GeeWhiz", and "Still A Man".... ... " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout

"Holy Smokes" was the shit though. "But what of black women? . . . I most sincerely doubt if any other race of women could have brought its fineness up through so devilish a fire." -- W.E.B. Du Bois --

"Lovin' You" is my cut. "Still a Man" too. However, The Revival is my favorite TTT album-- for sentimental reasons. Songs like "It Never Rains...". "Feels Good" and "All My Love" bring back some cool high-school memories.
