i remember some alcoholics growing up in tha hood.
one was named "D.L" before the down low term was used. the other one was named "Gab" then there was "pilgrim".he had a beard like those guys from the zz top group. damn.the things i remember growing up.i could write a book. | |

I believe they were going by The Liks for a minute to get away from the politically incorrect Alkaholics name.
But J-Ro, E-Swift and Tash are well remembered over here! Early 90s; different west coast flava than the hardcore that was being pushed at that time. Brought it unique - just like the Souls of Mischief... come on, you weren't ready for that one. Tash did a song a few years ago that was tight --- I remember the video but can't recall the song. When you're up against a trouble meet it squarely face to face. Lift your chin, set your shoulders, plant your feet and take a brace. | |
