Just in case anyone thought these things are real they arent. Everything from MTV real world to American Idol to 10,000 other crap shows that pollute the airwaves, they are all FAKE, RIGGED, Scripted, so stop worrying about the winners and losers of these shows because that has already been decided.

I know some of you will say well Early shows like MTV real world were real, NO THEY WERENT, I had a friend that Auditioned for more and they TELL U what is going to happen, and give you lines to read, so stop the insanity already.

And to INXS who used to be my favorite band.....WHY?? If u wanted to go on why dont U just tour Like QUEEN does.

frankly, i don't care either way. i choose which reality shows i watch the same way i choose any other sort of viewing entertainment: by whether i enjoy it, be it interesting, funny, dramatic, shocking, scary, etc. i could care less whether it's scripted or not. i'm watching it to be entertained. not as a peek inside the lives of someone i couldn't care less about otherwise.

watching a reality show is the mental equivalent to eating a whole box of little debbies.

frankly, i'd rather just read a book. and eat a whole box of little debbies while i'm doing it.

I do know Producers have them do certain things but i don't always think the outcomes are rigged.

Expect Project Runway when they made the judges let Wendy stay instead of Austin so that way they'd have drama in the final episode.

Are some of the scenes set up? yes. Is some of the drama manufactured? yes.

Is it ALL scripted. No f&*#ing way!

If I am wrong, reality shows have the finest actors ever to appear on televison, in movies, or on stage. These idots are not good enough actors to make scripted lines appear candid.

Think about it, movies that are mock-umentaries (spinal tap, best in show, etc.), while great,do not appear as natural as most reality TV shows. Why? Because it is incredibly difficult to act as if you are not acting.

Reality shows suck and they are manipulated but they are not ALL FAKE.

it's kinda like improv, only without wit.

Hmmm, i may go to the improv nights again at the local arts centre. Anyone can drop in randomly. SOme funny shit does happen as people of all ages , classes etcc just join in.

we had some guys from amsterdam sit in on my improv class over the summer. it was great fun. when i travel outside of the states, i'd love to drop in on an improv night or class or whatever and see what it's like outside of chicago. probably the same, but it would be cool anyway.

Same here. I figured that "The Real World" is scripted. Why? Because if you watch that show season after season (like I do), the two most attractive people in the house hook up, have little petty squabbles, make up, then break up again. It's all to keep the show's ratings up, and to keep people watching the show from week to week to week.

I mostly watch reality shows to see how different people interact with each other and solve problems and disagreements (although that is probably also scripted).

I hate reality shows,especially the ones that feature celebrities
