Does anybody know Wendy Melvoin's level of involvement with this new band called "The Like?" She produced their album "Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking?". I'm writing a review of it and thought someone here might have some inside scoop.

That's all I know. But I'm listening to the album right now, and really liking it! Reminds me of early 90s indie pop along the lines of The Las. Good stuff!

the girls parents are all associated with wendy and lisa..mitchell froom co-wrote mother of pearl.....tony berg executive produced eroica.....and then there's elvis costello's drummer.....


its a great album...reminds me of a harder The Sundays. i wonder if lisa declined producing or if we are going to see more wendy produced stuff..

the one thing i noticed is that most "wendy and lisa" efforts have a certain vibe to them..even if they are just playing on the album...this is totally devoid of any wendy and lisa flavor.
