this was probably the best u2 show i've ever seen. there was an energy level that was beyond description! bono was really loving it and, for the first time ever, i could actually tell larry was having...fun! he was so into everything. so much so that he was the last person on stage--which is normal for this tour--and after he stopped playing, with the crowd still singing "40", he went back to playing and played for a few more minutes with the crowd still singing. it was very cool.

there were a ton of great moments - like hearing "the firs time" live for the first time! - but mostly it was really just one long great moment!

good for you, I'm sure the bootleg will be on the U2 boards in a few days.

SOunds great, can't wait for them to come into my neck of the woods (less than a month!!). I'm still a little perturbed that they cut 'Running to Stand Still' in favor of 'Miss Sarajevo'; it's not that it's a bad song, but RTSS is my FAVORITE U2 song, and I was so excited to see it in the setlist at first. Oh well, cant' have it all.
