The victor of this contest was pure horseshit (then again, so was the idea of the show from the beginning), but that aside, T-Boz and Chilli (still love 'em) provided a decent medley of a selection of their hits, and I dig their new single "I Bet".. deserves to be at least a moderate hit.

Still missin' Left Eye.. continue to R.I.P., girl.

OMG, that was completely HORRIBLE. The energy was just GONE. They can't do it without it being the three of them. I love them so much but I simply can't support bullshit like that.

And the lip synching was OBVIOUS. WTF ? I mean c'mon. This is not the TLC I use to know. O'So Krispie is horrible.

It's a damn tv show. I like o'so krispie and the performance was good. Could have been better. The girls seem burned out.

There were moments when they seemed a little lackluster, especially T-Boz but then it'd seem like they suddenly got a rush and were puttin' down. Toward the end of their performance with Krispie I thought they were hot. Maybe memories of Left-Eye had them down 'cause I know hearing her voice and seeing the video got to me a bit. I can't imagine what it would be like to perform with her image there.

They reminded me why I liked them and still want them to hang around. They really have a style of their own and I wanted to believe T-Boz when she said 'we're back'.

The moment Mirrah spit out that WHACK ASS RHYME I KNEW her fate was sealed. Also, there was NO WAY ON HELL Chilli and T was gonna let a prettier bitch than them into their group! LOL!

I still say they shoulda just signed Da Brat to replace Lefty and went on from there.

Well, I guess the rumor mongers were right about this one. O'So Krispie was chosen to be The Girl last night over the logical choice of runner-up Mirrah. By choosing the 20-year-old O'So, T-Boz and Chilli - who are in their mid 30s - affirm their intentions to remain relevant to a younger audience. Choosing Mirrah would have given the legends an opportunity to grow and reach a more mature demographic. Last night's live broadcast of R U the Girl was the culmination of a 8-week effort to find a "temporary replacement" for the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. The winner gets a one-song contract along with a chance to perform live with T-Boz and Chilli during their upcoming tour. Few fans really believe that one-song deal.

Rumor has it that O'So Krispie, whose real name is Tiffany Baker, used to be an intern for a local superstar producer who played a large part in the early success of TLC. Close associates of said producer deny this. O'So already has a respectable following who are ecstatic that she won. Unfortunately for UPN, R U the Girl lost last night. The show was O So tired. The production was dreadful. Lip synching is so played out. Maybe it's just me, but didn't the girls look tired? Where was the energy and excitement that TLC is known for? How ironic was it that T-Boz and Chilli consistently said they weren't looking for someone to remind them of Left Eye - then they pick O'So Krispie, who looks and sounds a lot like Left Eye? Anyway, past runner ups of reality competitions have gone on to glory and I'm confident we'll be seeing more of Mirrah in the near future. What do you think about the choice of O'So Krispie?

I think they knew who won before the show even started. O'so was dressed just like T-boz and Chilli when they were chatting with the girls....I thought it looked a little weird.

I figured it was planned but in favor of Mirrah. One of the main reasons I thought they wouldn't pick Krispy was because she was so young. They made such an emphasis on personality, I didn't think two mid-thirty women would want to (possibly) record and travel with someone so young. With energy I could imagine her over the long run being hella annoying.

Again, it's all about youth.

But isn't thirty the new twenty?

O'so may be too much for them to handle so it looks like a 1-shot deal. O'so is very opinionated and looks like she may be hard to get along with, and in Girl Group land that spells disaster FAST!

I like both girls. Mirrah had more of Lisa's look and deep lyrical/spiritual vibe but O'So Krispies rap style was more like Lisa's and she can probably per4m the hits better. But i would have chosen Mirrah bcuz she took direction/instruction better and i think a better lyricist. As far as the show being a settup it possibly could've been. O'So Krispie is from the ATL and she was like the last girl picked and did'nt have 2 audition in front of the other girls(strange)! I'm still interersted 2 see what happens next. I would like 2 hear a new CD!
