Jam for another scorcher day: "Walking Into Sunshine" by Central Line As another hot ass 100 degree day begins, it reminds me of the 1981 jam "Walking Into Sunshine" by Central Line. Anybody feeling this one? I know Finess is because Larry Levan remixed it. Andy is a four letter word.

I was just dancing to this on Monday night when I went to DJ Rob Swift's show! Rob played "Walking Into Sunshine" during his mix set.
He played some other cool tracks too: http://www.prince.org/msg/8/161154

He did a version on Quincy Jones' LP, "The Dude", and another version on the B side of Glad to Know You(12" single).

I keep misreading this thread and hit on the Eddy Grant LP WALKING ON SUNSHINE that had the total killer jam "Living on the Front Line" from '79.
OK, back to your smooth oldies. test

Now, this is the shit that I've been grooing to. Some good old British Post-Disco. One listen to this track and you'll easily see where L.L. got is inspiration to write "Jingling Baby".
They had another hit called "Don't Tell Me", which you can now find on the SoulJazz records compilation called "British Hustle". NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
