did yall see it tonight?

i thought it was hot!! i LOVED ameries performance (is sheila e like her new sidekick or somethin? lol), aretha and stevie were WONDERFUl! and john legend was great as usual. i liked brian mcknight and that shoshanna chicks performance too (right until she started goin oooooverboard). AND that luther tribute vid was BEAUTIFUL, i loved it! the only performances i didnt like were toni braxtons and nina skyes, i didnt even watch all of toni's, but i thought nina skyes was very...boring. everyone was dancin behind them and all they did was this little 2 step sway.

other than that i loved it! how bout yall?

Unfortunately, I noticed that band was NOT playing their instruments! The tracks were pre-recorded and they were miming. The worst part for me was watching the drummer laughing as he was half hitting the drums and cymbals! Check it out on the Aretha/Respect segment!

Im 99% sure. Look at the drums and notice that they dont have microphones on them. And then watch the guy miming on the drums. You hear fills but he isnt touching the toms and you hear crash cymbals when he DOESNT touch them!

But the best part is watching the keyboard player playing with NO output cords on the back of his keyboards!

It is like watching The Soul Train TV show!

i wanted to watch it but i couldn't figure out what stupid channel it was gonna be on...i wanted to see the stevie & aretha performance.
