I USED to be able to predict a top 10 hit but now...

everything i think will be a hit never becomes a hit..i thought the Backstreet Boys latest single "just want you to know" would be a big hit but its already falling on the charts...I thought Keane's "Everybody's Changing" would be huge but it never even charted in the billboard hot 100..i guess my 80's music ear doesn't translate well in the 00's
Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

Keanes Everybodys changing was a huge hit in the UK! So you were kinda on the right track.

I cant do it anymore either, I think it has something to do with the quality of released material...

1 Thing hit the top 10 in the spring. I knew it was going to be a hit so when I heard it everywhere it didn't surprise me. Another way to see if a song will go to the Top 10 is if a "big name" producer is involved with the project.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Well, at the end of the day, it was the Go Go Beat/DC Funk which carried the song. The producer is from DC.

evillol Exactly. If it sounds good in the least, it's a guarantee it'll sink like a stone.

It only peaked at 38 in terms of actual airplay
