This forum really turned out to be my favorite at the org. I don't think I would have started listening to Meshell Ndegeocello or Tori Amos without the people here.

I witnessed the weirdest of Meshell concerts yesterday.

Actually, it wasn't really a Meshell concert, but a 'Transdub Foundation'(?) concert where she played bass as part of the band. Didn't sing, just played ska bass.

The rapper and singer were, well, weird. It was strange to see how Meshell kind of sucks up all the attention, without doing anything, really.

Her bass-playing was, as always, amazing, but could not save my mind from wandering. I found myself thinking 'why does that rapper shun underwear?' and "why is the singer wearing sunglasses after dark?"

But the evening was still amazing, as I did not only got to see her, but also got to spend some time with an amazing fella and hopefully soon, a buddy.

Again, M., thanks for the amazing evening! It was, as I said, a surreal evening, not only because of your red pants.
