American Life and Rainbow Children are much darker and more severe. Even though much of Lovesexy and LAP are introspective and soul-searching, there's a lightness to the sound and message of the material. The newer ones seem almost world-weary and angry in comparison.

According to our community member Dubbreak, Guy Oseary, Madonna’s longtime partner at Maverick, is back in the Madonna camp. Of course they remained friends all this time, but now Guy Oseary is on board as Madonna’s new manager -- working along with former assistant Angela Becker. It's not sure if this arrangement is long-term or just for the launch of "Confessions on a Dancefloor".

Drowned Madonna can confirm that Guy Oseary and Angela Becker indeed co-manage Madonna.

Drowned Madonna has been informed that Madonna and her band will start rehearsing in a couple weeks for some TV and promotional shows for her new CD, "Confessions on a Dancefloor". As previously reported, Madonna is indeed planning to do the European MTV Awards in November, but keep in mind that the schedule is still subjected to change.

DrownedMadonna can reveal the European promotional schedule so far for Madonna's new album "Confessions on a Dancefloor":

November 3rd – MTV European Music Awards in Lisbon
November 5th – Wetten, Dass..? in Germany
November 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 – various tv shows / small gigs in Europe
November 14 – Album launch in England / performance to be announced

Keep in mind that the schedule is still " in fieri ".

"Although I'm waiting to have a full-fledged conversation with him, my friend was at the Warner Music Canada listening party yesterday, and has now heard the album in its entirety. I only had the chance to hear from him briefly, but so far he has said:

1) The album is amazing. Some of the best she's ever done.

2) It is completely dance through and through.

3) The slowest song (although still dance) is ISAAC

4) Isaac featuring Madonna and another man (see credits for his name) chanting back and forth. Apparently its very similar to the chanting on Donna DeLory's THE LOVER AND THE BELOVED.

Pete Werner, Executive Program Director at Promoonly, was among the guests, who exclusively listened to three songs from COADF album at the Lotus party in New York last week.

Pete kindly took the time to tell Drownedmadonna his impressions on Madonnas new dance labour.

"The new music was incredible. First cut was dubby but nice with great buildups and nice energy. It will be #1 on the Billboard dance chart. The second song was along the energy lines of Missing by Everything But The Girl. Very melodic and soothing. Loved it! The third song was #1 across the boards at Top 40 Radio. Lots of potential, lots of energy, lots of hooks, lots of #1's. Dance music has a ray of light and Madonna is it's instrument. Very nice party. Thanks to Orlando Puerta, Sergio Goncalves and everyone else who put this together."

The latest rumour from the music industry is that Apple is going to make another announcement closer to the release of Madonna's new album, "Confessions on a Dancefloor".

According to the latest speculations from the insiders, they could announce that Madonna will have her own iPod - similar to U2's in that it will come with her entire catalog. It could be the new iPod Nano that just came out.

Keep in mind that at the moment, this is just speculation.

Nope, Madonna just put her back catalog on Itunes within the past month. Many fans have been asking for it, but it has never happened. I can see it now, that Guy Oresy and Ingrid Caserness are working for Madonna. They will stop at nothing to promote Madonna and make her the talk of the town again. It's almost like the second coming of Freddy DeMan. Leave it to the Gays
