Lotoya Luckett prepares for solo debut

LUCKETT PREPARES SOLO DEBUT

Ousted DESTINY'S CHILD star LeTOYA LUCKETT has announced a release date for her upcoming solo album - just days after her former bandmates played their last ever show together.

Luckett, who was one of the original Destiny's Child members until 1999, will release her album in February (06), and the first single from the project will be ALL EYES ON ME. Among the producers recruited for her self-titled project are JERMAINE DUPRI, SCOTT STORCH, JAZZE PHA and JUST BLAZE.

Luckett is also joined by rappers MIKE JONES, SLIM THUG, PAUL WALL and BUN B on the album.

She says, "I will always be an R+B singer. However, on this album I'm singing over hip-hop beats - things you would expect rappers to be on."

Remaining Destiny's Child members BEYONCE KNOWLES, KELLY ROWLAND and MICHELLE WILLIAMS played the last date of their final tour in Vancouver, Canada, on 10 September (05).

I hope she has some success with this CD.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
