Whatever happened to The Blow Monkeys? I was watching the video for "Digging Your Scene" (their biggest hit) today, and wondered "whatever happened to them"? That was one of my favorite songs of the post-New Wave/Pop era in the late 80's. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Man, Doctor Robert had the thinnest lips in pop. If thats the lead singer, he was hot in an androgynous way

In the US, yes, but not in the UK, where they had a short string of Top 10 hits, culminating in the great "Wait" featuring the wonderful Kym Mazelle. They also scored a Top 20 UK hit with "Celebrate (The Day After You)", a duet with the late great Curtis Mayfield. Dr Robert went solo in the 90s, putting in the odd appearance on some of Paul Weller's albums. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying.
