Good point, but in comparison to how many female groups there are to male groups, female groups last shorter than male groups. Male groups break up and get back together many times, most female groups break up and that's it.

Regardless of logevity, still the bottom line with all groups demises are EGO.

Remember 3LW broke up cuz the darker skinned girl said that she felt like she was the out-cast of the group? omg

Their "second" album "Blaque Out", which was shelved, has been leaked for years so you can download it on the net. But the "Torch" album was never released or leaked, but it go anything between lukewarm and bad reviews.

The Torch album had a tribute to Left Eye, but too bad we'll never get a chance to hear it.

They were on the "Honey" Soundtrack in 2003. The song was called "I'm Good". And the video was in minor rotation on BET.

It's actually about both in a way.

TR-808 - Classic Drum machine used back in the day by DJ's to create hip hop beats.

I liked them too. Used to listen to their album all the time. They were in a few movies..."Bring it On" for example.

I forget to mention. Natina went into ministry and is carrying out Left Eye's dream of building a school in Honduras. And the group has a new member named Erica Pullins to replace Natina and is currently signed to Gold Mind/Elektra.

Shamari recently got a a solo deal with Rodney Jerkins label, Bungalo/Universal, and put out a song called "The One".

Most of the time it's chick issues. Women have a hard time getting along with each other, too competitive and envious of one another, so usually that ends up fucking off the group...and a lot of the time it's over some dick.

or something nobel like motherhood...

some of these women are smart enough to know when to take the money and exit. pebbles being a perfect example of this.....ditto grace slick and christine mcvee...

Is Pebbles really a good example of this? lol She was kinda greedy with TLC's money, wasn't she? But the rest, yeah...people tend to act like women can't get along and men get along swimmingly! It ain't the women dropping bombs and starting wars.

Yeah, some leave due to motherhood but most of these girl groups break up over jealousy. Women will tell you themselves that females don't get along well.

sure dont. i like hanging w/ chicks and all, but to me dudes are better. they dont keep shit goin like girls. a guy get pissed at u (in my experience) he either try to make up or just let it go and not talk 2 ya.
a girl get pissed at u and she wanna call u and ya momma bitches, sluts etc..be wantin to fight u and try and turn people against ya

You take a chick out to a club and if they spots another chick wearing the same shit she's wearing, she wanna get mad and leave. If a dude see's another dude wearing same shit he's wearing, they nod in respect and acknowledge the fact that they both caught the sale at TJ Maxx. cool

Often psp titled to having sung "Where My Girls At" (by 702), Blaque came out and stormed the radio with "808" and "Bring It All To Me" (feat. JC Chascez from N*Sync)..and had a minor hit with "I Do" featuring their founder Lisa Left Eye Lopez"

They tried to come back in 2002 wth a radio singe "Cant Get It Back" a bangin jungle drum track but over-looked by mainstream, and just fell off.

What happened to them? I never saw them comment on Lisa's death either

i always thought the one in the middle(sorry i dont remember her name) was the prettiest one. smile

the 808 remix was my fav cut by them and i dug some of the other singles they had one.
