Why Can't We Discuss Korean Rap More?

It is a phenomenon that has been kept under wraps for far too long. It is time to give props to the hardcore rappers of Korea. If not here where? If not now when?

I salute the following:

Jin Hwan

AND

Shin Hwa

AND ESPECIALLY

These Guys

Continue to represent!

My avatar is not a joke. I believe Hanson to be one of the most underrated bands of the 1990's. Korean rap is also vastly underrated.

I am always a day late and a dollar short.

Can there really be too many threads on this explosive topic?

By the way, how did that thread go?

CinisterCee

Anyone listen to Dynamic Duo?

(Taxi Driver, released 2004)

They have a song called "Ring My Bell" based on Anita Ward's disco hit.

we can. but we prefer not to. what would be the point? American rap has become cheap and tacky enough. it's not going to get any better with a "Made In Korea" sticker on it.

Has anyone listened to Setaji Boys from Korea. They were like the biggest band there and had some rap songs. They were like the Korean Cypress Hill. The band actually got too big for Korea so they broke up and the lead singer moved to California. I think he went back to Korea to pursue a solo career after a Setaji Boys farewell tour or some crap. Probably more than you needed to know but pick up their greatest hits cd. Listening to Korean rap is a total joke but the shtick of it is amusing.
