A Perfect Day TAKK by Sigur Ros in the CD player for the first listen. The gorgeous exquisite beauty of the music had me in a trance when a friend called and told me to go outside. Because it was after 2:00 am, I knew immediately he was calling becuase the Northern Lights were out. What a magical, mystical night with the Icelandic influences of the music and the Northern Lights dancing all over the Great Lake Huron. Then today, swimming for several hours, great conversation and a fabulous dinner (the BEST spinach, artichoke heart, mushroom and fresh tomato lasagna) overlooking the Black River with this friend and Abbey Road on the way home (thanks to the recent threads). Hope you have all had as great a day! And, if you haven't heard TAKK yet ~ find a quiet island and treat yourself. Music is the language of the spirit.
