Randy released the statement on the website, but since Michael was her employer she could only be directly fired by him, which she never was. She spoke of Michael calling her a day after that statement saying he didn't have anything to do with it.

thedoorkeeper	Last time MJ announced he was doing a charity single it didn't turn out too great. Lets hope he doesn't ask his porno producer friend to shoot the video this time. Then again he was found not guilty so why shouldn't he pal around with his friends in the porno idustry?

Perhaps MJ has fond memories of "We are the World" and rather than play the cynic figures it could work again. At any rate, he's trying to help. I'm sure the victims don't care where the money and help comes from.
