The Music That Inspired LAMB I know there was alot of discussion about this when Gwen's LAMB was first released, but what music inspired LAMB ? I'm 18 so alot of this music is before my time so I'm interested in exploring it so if you could suggest some music that'll be nice.

Most of it is a throwback to the 80's. Yes! Maddona Yes! Salt and Peppa Yes! New Order. Specifically I think those 3 are most predominent. It's SUCH a mish mash of sounds that it's hard to nail down any particular one...as she intertwines them with hip hop, techno, and bubble pop electro.
Not the greatest album by any stretch. But a satisfying one at least. Certainly over hyped and over played and wrong singles (IMO) chosen yet those songs have gone number one...so what do I know. Christian Zombie Vampires | |

Toni Basil's "Mickey" is a fairly obvious influence on "Hollaback Girl".
