What happened to Sly Stone?

Hey ya'll,

I have wondered for awhile..what happened to Sly? I heard he got married on TV or something. (I think I read it somewhere.) Was that the last we've heard from him? Has he produced anyone? Did he retire? Die? Where is he? Does anyone know? Where are you Sly...????

He did get married in 1974 on a sold out Madison square garden
concert that was shown on TV.
Sly dissapeared from the musicscéne in the early 80's.
He made occational appearances in the mid 80's
like his collaboration with Jesse Johnson on the single "Crayzay".
He was seen a few weeks ago in L.A watching his sister perform
& that was the first time he's been seen in public in 12 years.

Here's a pretty good recent article about Sly's current whereabouts

http://www.mercurynews.co...099778.htm

And here's an article that the head of a sly fansite wrote in the late nineties about a meeting he had with Sly
