as i understand it, and i'm no expert on this, the emphasis is on marriage. In that you cannot have sex (with a minor, with an adult - whatever) outside of marriage. Therefore, since it is not possible for a man to marry a man, it's illegal for two men to have sex, of any age. It is also therefore illegal for a man and a woman (of any age) to have sex unless they're married. i'm not actually sure what the rules are re: the age at which a man or a woman is eligible for marriage (and therefore sex?). Maybe there is no law, but convention dictates that, normally, marriage these days only occurs over a certain age? | |
