MARIAH DID IT AGAIN, MAKING HISTORY

SHE STILL HAS "WE BELONG TOGETHER" AS THE #1 SINGLE OF THE COUNTRY FOR THE 14TH WEEK IN A ROW AND ALSO HER NEWEST SINGLE "SHAKE IT OFF" HAS THE #2 SPOT AND THE GREATEST AIRPLAY IN THE COUNTRY, THE LAST PERSON TO DO THAT WAS NELLY A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO WITH "HOT IN HERRE" & "DILEMMA". MARIAH IS THE FIRST WOMAN SINGER TO BE IN THE TOP FIVE OF HAVING THE BEST TWO SINGLES IN THE COUNTRY. LETS GIVE PROPS TO THIS WOMAN BECAUSE SHE SURE DESERVES IT. clapping

she does? or the payla department of her label does? i respect her for pulling her head out of her ass and putting out some good songs. but let's give credit where it's due.

SHE HAS WORKED SO HARD TO GET WHERE SHE BELONGS, ON TOP, LIKE BACK IN THE DAY BUT IN THESE DAYS SHE IS MORE ON HER OWN. SHE DOES HER OWN SHIT.

We Belong Together is a little too overrated for me, these days. I loved it when Emancipation Of Mimi came out and I remember replaying the song over almost 100 times because of that rhythm and the beat, but now I'm sick of it.

I sure will give credit.

Those songs are not my favorites but compared to most of the other stuff out there these days they are great.

At least Mariah has lots of talent. I couldn't watch the MTV awards for more than 15 minutes.

Yea it is. It almost sounds like shes rapping in that song, since her verses are so fast.

My favorite Mimi track is "Your Girl". I truly love that song. But I feel I'm in the minority here when I say that I think Charmbracelet and Glitter were stronger albums than The Emancipation of Mimi. "Get Your Number" and "To The Floor" are horrible, in my opinion.

"We Belong Together" did boffo bizness in the strip clubs. I heard that as much as I heard Yin Yang Bros "Whisper Song". Now I'm hearin' "Shake It Off" plenty in SCs

I'm happy for Mariah and respect her success, but I don't even like these new songs. Too samey and formulaic for my taste.

And if payola helped a little.....If the singles are best sellers, fine. If it's just radio airplay then her recent hits are fishy than her!

My local radio station here in Chicago has been playing the remix as much as the original version, which is pretty much non-stop.

Well the releases seem to be released in order or tracked too. JD produced these last 2 songs which is why they have a similar sound.

When Say Somethin drops though, that is really Princey and I think will throw some people off and turn some people on in the same time. Me, I LOVE that damn song still to this day. I admit finding myself skipping the first 3 track of the album.

Your Girl and Mine Again and Joyride could / should be possible singles too...almost the whole album should!!!

I am PROUD of Mariah!
