I'm totally STONED!!! Wow!
I just got back from my first ever Rolling Stones concert. I could not believe my good fortune as I scored 4 front row tickets at well under cost. I got to go with my best friend, my mother and her best friend and I couldn't have picked a better group. The weather was perfect, the venue was perfect, the pre-show bar was perfect, everything was as it should be. And then the show. I cannot believe how much energy Mick Jagger has! Still. He did not mellow out for even one second. A true showman. I cannot believe how great the band sounded after all these years. I thought for sure I'd missed seeing them in their prime, but they haven't lost a thing with age. It just made them seem bigger, better and badder than ever. I cannot believe Kieth Richards' solos! I cannot believe how fucking great our seats were! I cannot believe that stage! I cannot believe how much fun we were all having. I mean, at some points my mother (58) and her best friend (43) were dancing on chairs. They probably spent a total of 10 hours collectively on their hair and makeup. I cannot believe I got a setlist afterwards! I was persistant, but I kept hearing, "They don't give them out" or "They throw them away" or "Why would they need a setlist, they know their show by heart." But I got one. The only one given out. I cannot believe how great all of the new songs were. I'm getting this album cuz based on the 4-5 songs I heard last night, it's gonna be killer. I cannot believe what a fan I'm becoming. I've always liked them, but now that I'm really learning their music, I'm in awe. And last night, they made me a fan for life. Go see this tour.

are they doing afternoon shows now?!? No. But I'm just coming around after my week of travelling. I'm completely spent - body, mind, soul and especially money.

Getting better I hope? being able to say yes to that would be awesome. for the overwhelmingly most part, though, it was very much worth it. i'm sure you'd say the same for your adventures?

Just to hear my favorite Tori songs that I've never heard live. But there were several points along the way where I wondered if it was. Driving through Katrina in Cleveland. Getting a room in Toronto where they were rennovating in the floor right above us. Getting no sleep as usual. $3.30/gallon for gas. Having a nasty case of the stomach flu. You know, the usual.

Awesome. You went with your mom.....that's so cool. I wanted my mom to go with us to the Prince concert last year, but she backed out at the last minute, and my roommate's cousin took her place. The Atlanta and Charlotte shows are sold out, so I won't be seeing them.....plus those prices are a little too crazy. The way things are now with gas and everything, I won't be going anywhere for a while Plus, I'm not really a fan enough to pay that amount. They're playin' all the way into March of next year? looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Not sure how long this tour is. Not sure even how much most tickets cost, as I had to get mine off of Ebay. Yeah, my mom is a lot of fun. In the past year, we've been to Prince, Bowie and now the Stones together.

they are going to be playing in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada tommorrow night. My parents are going....Mom is a Stones-a-holic. Its going to be freaking huge...95,000 tickets sold, outdoor concert. Rolling Stones are the highlight but Maroon 5, Tragically Hip, Our Lady Peace will also be there....i'm jealous. my parents are cool.

With that many tickets available, perhaps you could score some last minute seats?
