i'd love it if Tavis Smiley went back to discussing important things occasionally. seems like every time i see his show, it's just an interview with some entertainer.

They're finally gonna broadcast the P-Funk documentary Oct. 11th. Mark your calenders, funkateers:

Find out how George Clinton, the mastermind behind the band Parliament Funkadelic, expressed the cultural alienation of young African Americans, creating an alternate universe of “aliens” who brought the redemptive power of funk to a world sorely in need of a new point of view.

I suppose you didn't watch the segment before George on Intelligent Design vs. Evolution?

Can someone please provide some details of what George talked about. I thought the interview was on tonight (Tuesday). I am sorely disappointed. Did GC seem somewhat coherent? Did Tavis seem referential the way he was with Prince? I am so lookinig forward to the album next Tuesday and I am seeing the show at the Greek Theatre in L.A. Sept. 9 ... HELL YEAH!!!

Peace,
Scott

George was coherant. Nice discussion about PFunk's history, Travis didn't bring up Prince, but I do wish the interview was longer.

no, i don't watch his show regularly at all. it really isn't that good. but as i said, every time i flip past it, it's some entertainer being interviewed.
