''The title track, Aerial, is about the quirky singer/songwriter's admiration of the blonde cello playing stunner from 80s American show 'Fame'. Apparently, Kate and her son Bertie are huge fans of the show and Bertie and her sing a duet of 'Starmaker' from the Kids From Fame soundtrack on the new album. There is also a re-recording of her 80s hit 'Don't Give Up' with UK girl group Atomic Kitten'' from fm107 radio news item

Is it even remotely possible that Prince will be on this album in some way, given that he likes to 'trade' guest appearances, and this is KB's first album since she appeared (although almost silently) on Emancipation?

Somehow, I just can't get my hopes up. I'm afraid, after all this time, that she'll change her mind once again and pull it right before its set to drop. I won't get excited until I have the CD in my grubby little paws! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. I'm calling it now: fans will be extremely disappointed with it.
They usually are with albums that took an eternity to get released. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Well, I didn't know her music before so I didn't have an opinion. Everyone predicted I'd feel this way. And so far, it's only based on 2 albums.

Which 3? hounds of love the sensual world the red shoes i don't care for the earlier stuff - too shrill for my tastes. maybe if i went back and listened again, i might appreciate them in a new light. but probably not.

I can understand. Seems like folks love The Dreaming nearly as much as Hounds. At least on this site. Lots of reviewers too. But to my ears, it was one of the most unlistenable experiences I've ever had. Truly awful and grating. But I love Hounds of Love! Quite fond of Never For Ever too.

That and the Hammersmith concert are my favs.
