Just got to love t/A's picks, King Kurtis live at the filmore is AWESOME. The jazz stuff is mandatory.

Maceo was mentioned before with the JBs and while all of the JBs is also mandatory listening, Maceo's solo stuff should be added to this list.

Candy Dufler has a couple of solo albums out that I enjoy listening to from beginning to end.
