Any Sade fans here? I'm sure there are. I became a fan after I first saw "Indecent Proposal" back in the day and I was like "what's the name of that pretty song?" and then within a matter of days, my cousin gives me the little cassette tape (they were cool back in the day lol) with a bunch various songs on it (it was a mixtape). she played the tape and i heard the song and i never gave it back lol i eventually found out it was sade and i looked into more of her songs. i had never even heard of her before then.

i love Sade! you can't go wrong with any of her albums. "Lover's Rock" is amazing though.

I passed up a chance to see her live a few years ago with Digable Planets as an opener. Aside from the fact I still think that's an odd pairing, I don't know what sort of crack I was smoking to NOT go see that one.

I pray she does at least one more North American tour some day, so I can check her out live.

Yes, I had Love Deluxe for a long time and I recently bought Diamond Life
(wich is my absolute favorite! -Smooth Operator, Cherry Pie, Your Love Is King.. all the same high level), Stronger Than Pride (least favorite but still great) and Promise.
And since you guys praise it so much I'm gonna have to buy Lover's Rock as well.
And maybe her live album Lovers Live, is it any good?

yes exactly. although when you are going through an emotional period, Sade may not be the best to listen to. I know when I was upset about something personal in my life, I was listening to the Promise album at work and it nearly put me in tears.....but i still love it anyway
