Obvious choice, but why not Prince, since Sly was a definite influence in Prince's music and style? RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

it wouldnt make any kind of since for prince to play sly. he's too light and looks nothing like him. i like the idea of andre, and i guess with the right clothes and stuff he could look somewhat like him. but can he BE sly? in all seriousness if he still looks like himself, i say let sly play sly...but aint he got some kids? Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
...And i'm gonna be groovy in it!

Dunno though, I've seen some pix of Prince's face (profile) where I thought he kind of resembled Sly. With the right makeup, who knows, Prince may be able to pull it off. I heard that Sly had at least one child, not sure if he has more than that, but it's possible. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

it aint really about lackin actors. its about finding someone that can look like him, play the guitar, and throw themselves into the role so much that they become sly. hell if jamie foxx could play the guitar i sure as hell would suggest him! someone i just thought of tho would be wood harris, remember hendrix yall? yea he aint look exactly like him or sound like him, but dude did a really good job with wat he was workin with. but their probly gonna pick an unknown Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
