Anyone agree that this album is BRILLIANT!!!???

Just listen to songs like.."N.Y." , "Words" , "There Goes The Fear"...

I think this record will go pretty far as far as reaching people's senses...

For those that enjoyed COLDPLAY or TRAVIS...they might find that the DOVES are even better!!! Just my opinion...their songs are unforgettable..."Caught By The River" is like U2 coming back to their RATTLE & HUM roots...

Seriously...one of the most important records we will have listened to this year...


THE DOVES-THE LAST BOADCAST...

In Europe I think they're being talked about more as the "new old Radiohead" i.e. a band for people who loved the Radiohead of "The Bends" but are disappointed and/or left behind (depending on your viewpoint) by their (i.e. Radiohead's) recent albums.

I loved their (i.e. Doves) debut album "Lost Souls" - but so far I'm not quite as taken with "The Last Broadcast."

BTW, as you probably know they used to be a dance/dance-pop act called Sub Sub - and had quite a big dance hit with "Ain't no love".

I own "the last broadcast" and like it very much. My favourite song is Words. The whole album is depressingly beautiful...
